High functioning individuals in business, performing and creative arts and sports can suffer the setbacks from situations that challenge their conventional positive thinking and result in less than successful outcomes. Mental and emotional barriers can get in the way and prevent optimum performance. Some of these include the following:
- performance anxiety about tryouts, interviews or auditions
- psychological recovery from injury
- mental recovery after errors
- self-doubt after corporate layoffs
- difficulty with attention
- lapses in concentration or focus, outside distractions
- difficulty managing stress and emotions, and fear.
Through performance enhancement coaching these barriers can be recognized, identified and worked through so that your natural talent, skills and strategies can again be realized and performance improved.
